From Mid-Hudson Bridge:
After crossing bridge, follow
signs for Rt 9 North/Hyde Park. Follow Route 9 north past Marist
College and Culinary Institute of America. Get in right hand
lane, continue to traffic light at top of hill at County Route
40A (St. Andrews Rd.). Turn RIGHT onto St. Andrews Rd., continue
to end. Turn LEFT at traffic light onto Rt. 9G. Continue about
2.3 miles to intersection with County Route 41. (Mobil gas station
on right hand corner). Turn RIGHT on County Route 41 (Crum Elbow
Rd) which becomes Netherwood Road. Continue for about 4 miles
(look for lake on left). Turn RIGHT onto Gretna Road. Continue
for 3/4 mile and turn RIGHT onto Melville Rd. Continue on Melville
Road to signs for Locust Hill Farm parking.
From Poughkeepsie area:
Take Route 9 to Route 44/55
East. Continue on 44 east after it splits from Rt 55 from Poughkeepsie
to Pleasant Valley. At the first traffic light in Pleasant Valley
(G.E. Masten Feed store on corner) turn LEFT onto County Route
71 (West Road). Follow West Road to the end, turn RIGHT onto
Salt Point Turnpike (NY Rt. 115). Turn at the first intersection
LEFT onto Gretna Road. Continue for 1.5 miles and turn LEFT onto
Melville Road to signs for Locust Hill Farm parking.
From the Millbrook NY area:
Route 44 west from Millbrook NY west
to Pleasent Valley. In Pleasant Valley at 3rd traffic light (G.E.
Masten Feed and CVS on corner) turn RIGHT onto County Route 71
(West Road). Follow West Road to the end, turn RIGHT onto Salt
Point Turnpike (NY Rt. 115). Turn at the first intersection LEFT
onto Gretna Road. Continue for 1.5 miles and turn LEFT onto Melville
Road to signs for Locust Hill Farm parking.
From Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge
After crossing bridge, continue
on Rt 199 to 2nd traffic light. Turn RIGHT (south) onto Rt. 9G).
Continue on Rt 9G for 14 miles to traffic light at County Route
41 (Crum Elbow Rd.) in Hyde Park. (Stewarts Shop on right hand
corner) Turn LEFT onto Rt 41. Continue for about 4 miles (look
for lake on left). Turn RIGHT onto Gretna Road. Continue for
3/4 mile and turn RIGHT onto Melville Rd. Continue on Melville
Road to signs for Locust Hill Farm parking.
